KnowledgeBrain (“the App”) is provided by pixelart.tech. Our privacy principle is simple: we collect no data from you.
What we do not collect
No accounts and no sign-in
No personal information, usage data, or diagnostics
No tracking, no ads, and no third-party analytics SDKs
Where your data lives
Your knowledge base (documents, notes, conversations, vector indexes) is stored locally on your device.
If you enable sync, your data is stored via CloudKit in your own private iCloud database, accessible only to you. pixelart.tech cannot see it. This data is governed by Apple’s iCloud privacy policy.
Your API key is stored in the system Keychain and is used only to call the provider you configure yourself.
On-device processing
Speech transcription, OCR, and vector search all run locally on your device. Audio and images are never uploaded to pixelart.tech.
On devices with Apple Intelligence, AI answers can be generated by the on-device model.
Third-party services (only when you opt in)
The App does not communicate with any third-party AI service by default. Only when you enter an API key and enable a cloud model in Settings are your prompts and relevant knowledge-base excerpts sent directly from your device to the provider you configured (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or any compatible service), without passing through any server operated by pixelart.tech. In that case your data is governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
Permissions
Microphone: used only to record voice memos; recordings and transcriptions stay on your device.
Speech Recognition: used only to transcribe voice memos, using on-device recognition.
Deleting your data
Deleting the App removes all local data. Synced data in iCloud can be deleted in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage (wording may vary by iOS version).
Changes
Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
如果你开启同步，数据通过 CloudKit 存入你自己的 iCloud 私有数据库，只有你能访问，pixelart.tech 无法查看。该数据受 Apple iCloud 隐私政策约束。
你的 API Key 存储在系统钥匙串（Keychain）中，仅用于向你自行配置的服务商发起请求。
设备端处理
语音转写、OCR、向量检索均在设备本地完成，音频与图片不会上传给 pixelart.tech。
在支持 Apple Intelligence 的设备上，AI 回答可由设备本地模型生成。
第三方服务（仅在你主动配置时）
本应用默认不与任何第三方 AI 服务通信。仅当你在设置中自行填写 API Key 并启用云端模型时，你的提问内容及相关知识库片段会从你的设备直接发送至你配置的服务商（如 OpenAI、Anthropic 或其他兼容服务），不经过 pixelart.tech 的任何服务器。此时你的数据受该服务商隐私政策约束。
本アプリは、初期状態では第三者の AI サービスと通信しません。あなたが設定で API キーを入力し、クラウドモデルを有効にした場合に限り、質問文および関連するナレッジの抜粋が端末から直接、設定したプロバイダ（OpenAI、Anthropic、その他互換サービスなど）へ送信されます。pixelart.tech が運営するサーバーを経由しません。その場合のデータ取り扱いは、当該プロバイダのプライバシーポリシーに従います。
権限
マイク: ボイスメモの録音のみに使用します。録音と書き起こしは端末内に留まります。
音声認識: ボイスメモの文字起こしのみに使用し、オンデバイス認識を用います。
データの削除
本アプリを削除すると、端末上のローカルデータはすべて削除されます。iCloud 上の同期データは、「設定 → Apple アカウント → iCloud → アカウントストレージを管理」から削除できます（iOS のバージョンにより表記が異なる場合があります）。
